Wanden P. Treanor is an attorney practicing law with a focus primarily on representing boards of directors of homeowner associations and in helping individuals, couples, and families to develop appropriate estate plans and through administration of family trusts. She is currently serving on the Advisory Committee on Education, Community College League of CA and on the board of the Educational Community for Homeowners (ECHO); she is also a member of the Novato Community Hospital Bioethics Committee.
In 2004, Wanden co-chaired Measure C, College of Marin’s successful countywide facilities bond campaign. She is past president of 10,000 Degrees (formerly the Marin Education Fund); Marin County Bar Association; Marin Legal Aid; and Planned Parenthood of Marin, Sonoma, and Mendocino. She also served as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA). Wanden is a recipient of the “Pay It Forward Award” from 10,000 Degrees; she has received Congressional Honors for Commitment to a Woman’s Right to Choose and has been recognized by the California State Assembly and State Senate Resolutions for Outstanding Community Service. First appointed to the College of Marin Board of Trustees in 1996 and elected in 1997, her current term expires in 2026.
