A native Marinite, Trevor began his academic career at the College of Marin with an A.A. in Music before traveling the world in search of musical adventures. He studied music composition with Younghi Pagh-Paan in Bremen, Germany, and in Buffalo, New York with David Felder and Jeffrey Stadelman, music theory with Charles Smith, and computer music with Cort Lippe.
Trevor stays active as a composer, arranger, and performer on trombone and tuba. His music has been performed in Germany, Italy, The Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Korea, and the USA. He has previously taught music at University at Buffalo, and the University of Pittsburgh.
At College of Marin, Trevor teaches Music Theory, Masterworks, Fundamentals, Music in Society, Composition, and directs the Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
When not making music, Trevor enjoys playing disc golf and building and racing cars.
