Tonya Hersch (she/her) is the Dean of Educational Success Programs at College of Marin. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing and English from Mills College and her BA in English and Psychology from Pitzer College. Tonya has been an educator in the CA Community Colleges since 2006 and has taught English at College of Marin, Las Positas College, and Ohlone College. She started working at College of Marin in 2009 as an Instructional Specialist. Since that time, Tonya has worked at COM as a part-time instructor, a full-time instructor, the Director of Basic Skills Programs, and the Dean of Educational Success Programs starting in 2018.
