Keith Rosenthal began his higher education in the community college system, earning an associate degree from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL. He transferred to Illinois State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in international business. After graduating, Rosenthal started working in the international transportation sector selling container space on ocean-going cargo ships. Following 13 years in this field, he desired a career that would give back to the community. He took his communication and relationship-building skills and jumped into the nonprofit sector – fundraising for DePaul University and the Greater Chicago Food Bank. After moving ten years ago from Chicago to Mill Valley, he has worked in fundraising roles at the Schurig Center for Brain Injury Recovery and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
