Guadalupe L. Jimenez Martinez is a First-Generation Mexicana born in Jalisco who moved to San Francisco at the age of 5 with her older brother and parents. She graduated from San Francisco State University (SFSU) with her BA in Child and Adolescent Development in Youth Work & Out of School Time and a minor in Latino/a Studies. Later choosing to pursue an MS in Counseling with a specialization in College and an emphasis in Career at SFSU.
She has worked within the Transfer Center at College of Marin, in general counseling and transfer at Berkeley City College. Guadalupe is dedicated to working alongside students to build community and achieve greater academic and career equity within higher education settings.
