Erin McBride Africa holds an MFA in Directing from UC Irvine and has been working as a stage director, choreographer, and theatre professor in the Los Angeles area. She was a founder of the Sons of Beckett (SOB Theatre Company), the founder and Artistic Director of Open Wings Theatre Company in Santa Clarita, and, the Associate Artistic Director of Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival. Her areas of expertise Include: Directing, Acting, Devising, Viewpoints, Shakespeare, Movement & Choreography, Linklater Voice Work, Community-Based Theatre, and Theatre for Young Audiences.
