My education was at San Jose State University where I completed my undergraduate degree and Master degrees. I have taught programming, Microsoft Office applications, Windows 10 and CIS 110 online. CIS 110 is my favorite class, in fact, I wrote a textbook for the class as well as writing several computer programming textbooks. Besides teaching I like to go boating on San Francisco Bay where I keep my boat. I volunteer for a non-profit agency that patrols the bay to look for pollution and I run their boat. Travel is also big on my list of things to do when not teaching and I have been to 26 countries, but my favorite vacation is sunning on the beach in Maui Hawaii.

Tips for Success in my Online Classes
My online class requires regular attendance through course discussions, assignments/tutorials, and quizzes. The class has the same content and requirements as a face-to-face class. This is not a self-paced class as you will be reading and viewing online materials and participating in forum discussions.
Additional information
My class requires a number of computer lab assignments that you can complete on your own computer or at our computer lab at the Kentfield campus in LC35. I will be available TR 10-11AM In LC 35 for help. I conduct my office hour in the LC35 computer lab as I find that is the most helpful to students.
