I have been the head baseball coach and working in the Kinesiology department at College of Marin since 2000. Last year, I held the position of Interim Director of Kinesiology and returned to teaching and coaching this fall. I have an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco. I believe great doesn’t happen before dedication, determination, and hard work. To be a great coach or a great instructor I believe you need to continue to grow and develop. Self-improvement is vital and something I spend time on each year. Whether it has been going to conventions and listening to top experts in my field or taking classes to learn more I find huge value in learning. My passion for coaching and teaching has led me to many great opportunities. I have had the opportunity to serve on a non-profit board, become a professional baseball scout, work as an athletic director, and most recently served as the Bay Valley Conference representative for baseball. All these opportunities have helped shape me as the instructor and coach I am today.
