I have been teaching history since 2007 and practicing law since 1992 with my area of emphasis criminal defense. I have an undergraduate degree in history (UC Santa Barbara, BA) as well as graduate degrees in history (Sonoma State, MA; University of Texas, Ph.D.) and law (University of San Francisco, JD). I have lectured at the University of Texas, Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa Junior College and have been a member of the faculty at College of Marin for four years.
