Mia N. Robertshaw

Mia Robertshaw is the Interim Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Student Learning and Success. Since January 2018, Mia has served as College of Marin’s General Counsel. In her General Counsel role, Mia provides legal advice on the many issues facing the College, acts as the lead negotiator for the administration in negotiations and ongoing labor relations matters with the College’s three unions, and serves as a member of the executive team. In addition, Mia is the chair of the Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council. Throughout her work for the College, Mia seeks to provide practical legal advice that centers the needs of students, supports employees, and furthers the mission and value of the institution. Before joining COM, Mia worked for a public law office representing public K-14 institutions in California, and previously worked for Latham & Watkins. Mia holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from University of California, Santa Cruz, and a juris doctor degree from Columbia Law School.
