Tips for Success in my Online Courses

Distance learning is self-directed learning. It requires a high level of responsibility, dedication, and self-discipline from a student. You should expect to spend as much time in your online class as you do in in a traditional face-to-face classroom, in addition to the time required for assignments. The best advice I have for student success in my class are to log into class early and often throughout the week. Doing a little bit each day will help you to stay on top of the discussion posts and conversations with your classmates. It can be easy to procrastinate in an online class but it is highly discouraged, as your grade will suffer.
