My work history includes more than 14 years as a higher education administrator and professional staff member. This includes progressive experiences at two-year and four-year institutions in recruitment, marketing, admissions, entry level assessment, first-year student programs, service-learning, student life programs, as well as retention and graduation initiatives. In addition to my work as an administrator, I have served as an adjunct faculty member teaching courses in Psychology, first year experience, and leadership development. Research interests include psychological and socioeconomic aspects of postsecondary choice, access, and equity in admissions and financial aid programs at rural and suburban community colleges. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Cameron University, a Master of Education from the University of Oklahoma, and am a doctoral candidate in Education from Oklahoma State University.
