Becky Reetz

COM alumna Becky Reetz graduated in 1992 with an associate degree and transferred to the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies at Sonoma State University (SSU) where she received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. In 2001 she returned to COM where she served as the Tutoring and Learning Center Coordinator for eight years. During this time, she returned to SSU and earned a Master of Arts degree in Education: Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. In 2015 she became the Director of Extended Opportunities Programs and Services (EOPS), CARE, and CalWORKs. She is honored to have this role focused on supporting low income, first generation, underrepresented students at the college. Outside of the college, she enjoys the outdoors, especially the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains and high lakes, and has been an avid fisherman since she was old enough to hold a pole. She and her wife Christine share a deep passion for live music, particularly Phish and the Grateful Dead, and share a home in northern Marin.
