Nicole Evans McIntyre (she/they) serves as the MESA Director at College of Marin. She holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and a graduate degree in educational leadership from the University of San Francisco. Prior to assuming her role, Nicole developed and led support programs for engineering students at the University of California, Berkeley and an NSF national research center.
Nicole is committed to creating equitable and accessible institutions of higher education, with a focus on inclusive communities for underrepresented students in STEM. She has experienced the transformational power of higher education and embraces it as a tool to dismantle systems of power and oppression.
