Jeff Goodlund is a Bay Area-based vocalist/multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and educator. He has extensive credits as a film composer and post-production editor, mixer, and sound designer. While on the faculty at Expression College in Emeryville, CA, Jeff taught music, audio, film technology, and game audio, and with the onset of COVID-19, he created and taught much of the synchronous and asynchronous online curriculum.
At the College of Marin, Jeff teaches the Desktop Musician courses, which cover the principles of sound, recording, mixing, mastering, producing, and Logic Pro X. Jeff holds a BA in Music with a minor in Business Administration from Sonoma State University, and an MM in Commercial Music with a specialty in Film Composition from CSULA. When he is not in the studio or a classroom, Jeff can be found mountain biking in the hills of Marin, or snow skiing in Tahoe.
