College of Marin alumna Ruthie Reeder earned her associate degree before transferring to Sonoma State University (SSU), where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Ruthie has been appointed as a member of the Marin County Child Care Commission and represents College of Marin as a Child Care Provider.
With over 19 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to 13 years old, Ruthie most recently served as a Child Development Specialist in Los Angeles and as Interim Director at Glendale Community College’s Child Development Center. Prior to these roles, she was the Child Development Program Director at North Marin Community Services, where she managed a large non-profit child development program.
